**Job Overview**
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team and assist in providing occupational therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals in need of rehabilitation services.
**Duties**:
- Implement treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Collaborate with the therapy team to develop and adjust treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises
- Maintain accurate patient records and reports
**Experience**:
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Knowledge of acute care, medical terminology, and pediatrics is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal, Apprenticeship, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $16.00-$25.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:

- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
