**Key Responsibilities**:

- Planning and carrying out OT & SLP therapy in community schools under the supervision of a therapist(s).
- Development and/or preparation of materials.
- Electronic documentation of therapy sessions and sharing information regarding student progress with therapists.
- Maintenance of equipment and inventory.
- Attending team meetings.
- Assisting therapists with other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Therapy Assistant Diploma or 2 years’ experience in a related field.
- Speech-language pathology& Occupational Therapy assistant experience is an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively and take directions from the therapist(s).
- Must be able to work independently as well as within a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must demonstrate proficient computer skills.
- Must have a vehicle, valid Alberta Driver’s License, and a clean driving record.
- A reliable vehicle, auto insurance with a minimum $2,000,000.00 liability and driver’s license is required.
- Must have professional liability insurance.

**Pre-Requisite Security Clearance Documentation**:

- ‘Intervention Record Check through Alberta Child Services’ is also required, however, we can support you with completing this during your onboarding.
