**Vice-President of Real Estate Canada - ON**

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer (CDO), Foodtastic is seeking a Vice-President of Real Estate Canada who will oversee and be responsible for all leases, lease renewals, location disposition and rent reductions.

**This role will**:

- Responsible for lease renewal proposals and negotiated business terms to ensure the financial terms of the lease meet with company/franchise partner budgets
- Approve draft lease terms with internal/external legal counsel to ensure that terms are aligned with company standards.
- Support new development, support existing sites and help us cultivate the system.
- Track critical dates including lease expiries, renewal option deadlines, possession date and commencement dates.
- Approve ancillary documents (storage agreements, estopped certificates, pylon sign agreements etc)
- Ensure charges are applied in accordance to the lease and communicating any changes to franchise partners, as well as accounting department for corporate rent roll
- Ensure correct payment made to landlords
- Maintain database with respect to lease information for all stores
- Ensure dates set out in agreements are met with respect to fixturing and commencement.
- Gather documentation required for billing of tenant allowance.
- Ensures to contact landlords for monthly statements and updates arrears reports.
- Maintains property index and lease correspondence files.
