We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented IT Intern to join our team.

Reporting directly to the IT Manager, this position is based in Mississauga, Ontario.

Under close supervision, assists customers and clients with Personal Computer and related network issues. Tasks may be performed at the end-user's location or remotely to trouble-shoot, maintain, install, repair or modify PC hardware and software. Provides timely and creative solutions of basic to moderately complex issues to ensure end-user productivity. Maintains accurate information and data regarding end-user issues within the tracking system and according to policies and standards.

**Major Accountabilities**:

- Assists internal customers with PC and network-related operations issues.
- Provides timely, creative, and accurate solutions to ensure end-user productivity.
- Maintains accurate information regarding end-user issues within the tracking systems.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Assists in identifying and resolving end-user PC or network-related performance issues.
- Builds or configures new hardware, installs, and updates software.
- Repairs personal and/or organizational computers and servers to keep them operational.
- Creates, updates, and maintains computer networks by running diagnostic programs to resolve computer problems.
- Gathers data to assess the needs of the customer and uses data to assess system or network requirements.
- Corrects or repairs problems such as incorrect settings, viruses, spyware; replaces hardware or operating systems, as required.

**Specialized Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities**:

- Ability to prioritize workload.
- Demonstrated knowledge of personal computers and servers and related operating environments.
- Attention to detail, basic communications and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
