**Your days will include**:

- Purchasing MRO items and emergency parts for Maintenance
- Ensuring accuracy of orders received, correct if necessary
- Continual pursuit of cost saving opportunities and initiatives
- Troubleshooting shortages
- Analyzing inventory trends
- Monitoring and adjusting stock levels at various locations
- HDC Support
- Working with vendors in negotiating prices, requesting quotes, and setting up contracts
- Other duties as assigned

**To succeed in this role, you need to possess**:

- Experience in inventory management, purchasing and distribution
- Negotiating Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Knowledge of ERP system
- Process and results oriented
- Analytical capabilities - inventory optimization
- College diploma or degree in Business Administration (an asset) and/or 3+ years of experience in Procurement
