THE OPPORTUNITY

Published On Main is currently searching for a passionate individual to join our growing team as DOOR HOST.

**START DATE**: Immediately

This position is FULL TIME/PART TIME

POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Host, you will create a welcoming and efficient environment for guests, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter the venue. You will manage reservations, optimize the evening floor plan, interact with guests, and actively support the overall operations of the establishment.

Secondary tasks include various weekly cleaning duties, organizing storage areas and helping with resetting and clearing tables.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in a fast paced restaurant is required, preferably a minimum of 2 yrs. A love of food, wine, cocktails, and a desire to learn and grow in the hospitality industry is a bonus.
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and demanding environment, especially during peak hours.
- The ability to learn and understand the restaurants service, guest flow, menu and ingredients.
- A keen eye for detail, ensuring that their work meets the highest standards.
- The confidence to adapt quickly and handle unexpected situations.
- Effective communication and listening skills, teamwork skills and the confidence to follow directions efficiently.

Weekend and evening availability is a must.
