**MANAGER, IT OPERATIONS**

The **Manager, IT Operations **is responsible for the management and improvement of the overall IT operations for the organization. The Manager is responsible for configuration, license management and maintenance of IT systems across the organization. With oversight of the CISO, the Manager will maintain information security policies, processes, standards and procedures and is responsible for managing risks related to information security, business continuity planning, crisis management, privacy, and compliance. They will also respond to third-party audit requests, perform information security risk and privacy impact assessments, partake in testing of controls, follow-up on identified gaps and recommend improvements to reduce, contain and mitigate risks.

**WHAT YOU DO AS A MANAGER, IT OPERATIONS**
- Responsible for IT Ops, including the IT support team, G Suite, MS 365, directory services, device management, system patching, office connectivity, hardware inventory and malware protection.
- With direction from our CISO, maintain and enhance our ISO 27001 ISMS program by keeping policies/standards/procedures up to date, implementing and enforcing IT controls and ensuring that the organization remains aligned with the standard.
- Maintain and expand our computer and terminal physical security by developing procedures; hardening technology platforms; recommending improvements.
- Protect systems by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.
- Determine security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.
- Report information security performance against established security metrics, prepare management reports recapping and trending various categories of security issues and highlighting remediation activities.
- Monitor the organization’s networks for security breaches and investigate a violation should one occur
- Develop remediation plans and facilitate implementation to reduce future risk of security breaches, data loss and operational disruption.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, and security testing including but not limited to phishing exercises, network scans etc. and coordinate the execution of these within the corporate context, as well as oversee the remediation activities associated with privacy and /or vulnerability/risk findings
- Ensure authorized access by investigating improper access; revoking access; reporting violations; monitoring information requests by new programming; recommending improvements.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE**

Experience configuring and operating:

- Google Workspace (G Suite)
- Device management, directory services and patch management systems
- Malware protection software

Experience managing:

- Software/hardware inventory
- Vendor onboarding and assessment

Knowledge of Cyber security principles and fundamentals
