**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Safely operate Company delivery vehicles to transport furniture from warehouse to customer locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring they are secured properly for transport.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet delivery schedules.
- Assemble furniture on-site according to manufacturer instructions. Ensure all items are correctly assembled, stable, and functional.
- Handle tools and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during the delivery process.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Report damaged or missing parts to the warehouse or management.
- Assist in warehouse operations, including moving products and organizing inventory as needed.
- Handle heavy lifting of packages or materials, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Operate forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading goods.

**Skills**/**Requirement**
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Proven experience in furniture assembly or a similar role is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Excellent customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction during deliveries.
- Ability to perform moving tasks efficiently within a warehouse environment.
- Experience with heavy lifting and handling of various types of cargo safely.
- Basic knowledge of tools and hardware.
- Frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Travel to customer locations daily. Weekend or evening shifts may be required.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- delivery driving: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
