**Position**: Full-time Maintenance Worker

**Hours**: 5 days per week, 8 hour shifts, rotating weekends and holidays.

Valid driver’s license. Must be able to work as a team member and with the elderly.

**Responsibilities**:
Hands-On Maintenance:

- Perform general maintenance tasks, including some plumbing repairs.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to identify and address issues proactively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems efficiently.
- Ensure the proper functioning of property systems and equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance schedules to extend the life of equipment and reduce downtime.

Coordination and Scheduling:

- Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work.

Administrative Tasks:

- Utilize property management software to track maintenance requests.

Emergency Response:

- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations, ensuring a swift and effective resolution.

Property Management:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned properties.
- Conduct regular property inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety codes, building codes, and internal safety protocols.
- Support fire safety inspections and emergency preparedness planning as required.
- Communicate effectively with tenants and staff, ensuring mínimal disruption during repairs.

**Must have a Vulnerable Sector Police Check - not older than 1 year.**

Pay: $20.91-$22.90 per hour
