**The Opportunity**:

- Two-year post-secondary diploma in property assessment or related field
- Professional designation - Accredited Municipal Assessor of Alberta (AMAA), Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI), Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA), Residential Evaluation Specialist (RES) or Certified Assessment Evaluator (CAE).
- Valid Alberta Driver’s license
- Use of a personal vehicle
- Minimum 5 years of directly related experience in valuation including highly developed analytical skills
- Additional specialized courses in income capitalization, analysis of income and expense statements, valuations, sales analysis and leadership or comparable experience
- Competencies - In addition to the 9 Core Competencies (Ethics & Values, Service Focus, Thinking, Planning & Organizing, Leadership, Development, Communication & Interaction, Adaptability & Change Management, Understanding the Municipal Political Environment) specific to this position:

- Demonstrated self-directed experience with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Demonstrated ability to time manage and work efficiently

**Remuneration**:
$51.36 to $54.06 per hour

**Hours of Work**:
75 hours biweekly; Monday to Friday, some evening and weekend work may be required when needed.

**Additional Information**:
