The DevOps Intern will assist the DevOps team in day-to-day tasks as outlined in the Job Description below. In addition, the DevOps Intern will be assigned a special project to complete during the internship. The special project will likely involve heavy use of Python and Cloud Infrastructure. You'll also get a chance to work with the development teams working on these services, and learn the technologies behind these services as well.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Work as part of a DevOps team and collaborate with developers

Learn our existing tools and offerings

Gain understanding of the problems we are trying to solve

Play a meaningful part in the build and release processes of our current solutions portfolio

**Required Skills**:
Passion for technology and a desire to automate everything

Ability to work well on your own and in teams

Knowledge of and the ability to learn various development and scripting languages, specifically Python, as well as workflow automation

Passion for solving complex problems; ability to create or identify solutions that are well-tested and maintainable

Knowledge of the UNIX or Linux | Windows operating system

The Following Are Considered a Plus

Ability to graphically represent concepts and architectures in documentation

Experience working in agile software development teams

Any experience with Cloud hosting providers (Google, Amazon, or Azure)

Kubernetes / Docker Knowledge

This role is required to know a language other than French as TMX is an international organization with operations across the globe and its clients, shareholders, competitors, stakeholders, regulators and employees communicate in English.
