We are a busy mental health practice in **Barrie, ON** seeking a dependable and detail-oriented **Part-Time Office Assistant** to help with light office maintenance and administrative support. This independent contractor position is **hybrid and flexible,** and is ideal for psychology students or recent grads looking to gain experience in a clinical setting.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Restock office supplies and perform light cleaning tasks
- Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming office space
- Provide general administrative support to the team as needed

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Previous experience working in administrative/clerical roles
- Coursework or degree in psychology or a related field; it is an asset if you are pursuing a degree in Counselling Psychology
- Understanding of ethical standards and confidentiality in mental health settings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Polite, client-centered and empathetic to client's needs/concerns
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

**Position Details**
- Independent contractor position; you will invoice monthly the amount of work you do
- Minimum of 5 hours per week; may fluctuate depending on office needs
- up to 10hrs per week
- Office maintenance 2-3x/week either in the morning before client sessions (usually before 9am) or after client sessions (usually after 7:30pm). We have weekly deep cleaning support so this would just entail ensuring our office is stocked and tidy
- each visit should take 15-30min
