**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet every patient with kindness, enthusiasm and interest, ensuring that everyone feels welcomed. Always be ensuring an optimal patient experience.
- Communicate with the patients and guardians regarding their appointments. Provide answers pertaining to their chiropractic treatment, appointments, and office policies.
- Answer all incoming calls and make notes regarding important conversations with patients and their responsible parties.
- Gather insurance information from patients and submit insurance claims through an online system.
- Schedule and reschedule patient appointments.
- Scan information into patient charts.
- Perform organizing and filing of patient charts.
- Use external software programs or call to confirm patient appointments.
- Act as a liaison between the doctor and the patient.
- Compose letters and other documents for communication as requested and required.
- Collect and process payments.
- Recording payments from insurance companies
- Reconcile payments and print practice summary reports as needed.
- Ensure the waiting room and treatment rooms are always tidy.
- Perform foot scans on patients using a computer system.
- Setting patients up on chiropractic tables
- Work cohesively with fellow team members to provide an atmosphere of trust, mutual respect, and cooperation.
- Perform any other tasks delegated or assigned by the clinic owner.

**Requirements**:

- Health care office experience is an asset but not required.
- Must have customer service experience.
- Must have computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, an ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
- Great time management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and prior experience recording payments is an asset.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 9 per week

Schedule:

- Morning shift
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Paris, ON N3L 1K2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative: 1 year (preferred)
