This time, we are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable **Head** **Housekeeper** who is able to maintain Legion Manor standards. **This is a Monday to Friday position where you will work 8:45am - 4:45 pm**.**

**Primary objective of this role is to provide excellent service along with a clean, comfortable environment for all residents, guests, and employees while keeping communication smooth between Management & staff.**

**General Responsibilities**:

- Scheduling (Laundry schedules/staff schedules/suite Turnovers)
- Conflict management
- Promote sanitary conditions which prevent the spread of viruses while performing housekeeping duties.
- Oversee all other housekeeping staff
- Train new hires and monitor quality of work
- Inform Housekeeping Manager of all stock needed when supplies are low
- Keep all housekeeping staff on task
- Maintain professionalism at all times
- Report daily to Housekeeping Manager (for any updates or needs)
- Follow provided resident room cleaning task list
- Follow provided Common Area cleaning task list
- Operate necessary cleaning equipment, e.g., / Vacuums, Washer, Dryer, etc.
- Report all needed repairs to Front Desk
- Handle cleaners and chemicals to comply with required procedure measures
- All cleaning chemicals to be used are to be provided by Legion Manor Victoria and must have the appropriate WHIMIS label with the required information on it.
**Suites (When Needed)**:

- Clean and sanitize the bathroom, including washing the floors.
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including washing the floors.
- Vacuum all carpeted areas.
- Light dusting in all areas
- Remove dirty sheets and towels for washing and remake the bed with fresh linens
- Launder suite linens and towels daily in the commercial laundry room
- Return clean laundry to the suite.
- Please note that we do not launder personal laundry unless specified (examples: bathmats, quilts, clothing, etc.)
- Dust the common areas on the main floor of the building including the lobby, private dining room, hallways, living room, entrance way, sunroom, and library.
- Polish all furniture in the above areas.
- Vacuum or wash the floors in all the areas stated above.
- Clean and restock the public washrooms including the washrooms on the ground floor.
- Pick up the garbage and recycling from the office and other areas. - Clean and sanitize the spa room.
- Clean the staff lunchroom.
- Clean and sanitize the two elevators.
- Clean the windows in the front lobby area.
- Report repairs and unsafe conditions to the Front Office so work orders can be generated.
- Restock your housekeeping cart and chemical bottles at the end of your shift
