**P&H Milling**: P&H is the largest Canadian-owned milling company. The P&H Milling Group sources wheat from Western Canada, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada to produce quality flour and cereal products. The lineup includes hard red spring wheat flour for breads and other bakery products, soft winter wheat flour for cakes and cookies, as well as semolina flour for pasta, organic flour, and atta flour for chappati. In our specialty milling operation in Saskatoon, we also mill pea fractions.
From its mills in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Acton, Hanover, Hamilton, and Cambridge, Ontario; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and Lethbridge, Alberta, the P&H Milling Group supplies flour to customers throughout Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Iceland, and Pacific Rim countries.

**Day to Day**:
- Ensure compliance with Federal regulations by creating and maintaining policies and SOPs aligned with legislative updates, emerging risks, and best practices.
- Lead safety training sessions for employees and coordinate third-party training programs to ensure compliance and promote a safe working environment.
- Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and recommend preventive measures to improve workplace safety.
- Monitor adherence to safety laws, industry standards, and site-specific requirements, collaborating with management to implement corrective actions.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate documentation of safety inspections, incident reports, and employee training certifications to support compliance and improvement.
- Work closely with operations teams to implement safety programs, providing hands-on training and guidance on risk identification and best practices.
- Foster a collaborative environment where safety is prioritized across all levels of the workforce
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant role within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Experience in a food manufacturing setting is considered an asset.
- Experience with incident investigation, root causes analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) Designation is considered an asset.
