We are looking for a rock star. This is a great opportunity for an individual who really wants to make a difference. Roncy Dental Studio is a brand-new space in the heart of Toronto. Dr. Little has been working in the area for 20 years and has finally branched out on her own. This is a non-corporate office, and a singular location, with many patients who have been with the dentist for many years. We need someone who is comfortable chatting with people and making people feel at home.

We are looking for a **Level 2 Dental Assistant **that wants something a little different. We want you to lead the clinic, and really own the position. Do you have exceptional clinical skills? Do you have experience with ordering dental supplies and budgeting? How about maintenance of equipment? Are you flexible, kind, compassionate, and fun, and do you have a desire to truly be a part of a wonderful team?
- Be in good standing and have obtained a **level II certification with the National Dental Assisting Examining Board (NDAEB) certificate, and have graduated from a Canadian accredited school.**:

- Have successfully completed a program or radiography course approved under the Healing Arts Radiation Protection Act, 1990 and its Regulations.
- Be comfortable and proficient with all IPAC regulations and procedures.

Duties : All duties included in Level II certification, including but limited to:

- Setting up/ tearing down and sterilization of room and instruments
- Assisting dentist during procedures, a strong knowledge of dental procedures is required
- Running sterilization center (with help from hygienist and other CDA II)
- Taking digital xrays, both intra and extra-oral and using a scanner.
- Polishing teeth (especially children)
- Placing rubber dam, sealants, polishing restorations, taking impressions
- In office bleaching
- Pouring up models, limited lab work
- Ordering, keeping track of stock
- Booking patients back
- Using intra oral camera for documentation
- Occasionally sending correspondence to patients
- Maintenance of dental equipment
- Maintaining a clean and organized dental office (No cleaning of common areas required)
- Spending some time getting to know our patients (polite conversation)

**Experience**:

- A minimum of 2 (two) years experience as a CDAII
- Graduation from an accredited Canadian assisting school/college
- Knowledge of AbelDent preferred.
- Experience working alone with children preferred.
- Surgical assisting experience would be nice, we have an oral surgeon that comes in once per month (Saturday)

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay
