**Location**:Innisfail, Alberta** Schedule**:Monday to Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate plate rollers, brakes, and section benders to produce high-quality fabricated parts. machinery and equipment for metal fabrication.
- Set up equipment and follow quality procedures as needed.
- Interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine dimensions and setup requirements.
- Verify dimensions and quality of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
- Fit and assemble machine components and parts to industry standards.
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic equipment repairs.
- Communicate with supervisors to resolve machining or quality issues.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
- Keep inspection records and complete inspection reports.
- Utilize metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.
- Effectively manually operate the lathe and milling machines.
- Perform tasks such as grinding and buffing.
- Work independently, prioritize assignments, and follow safety protocols.
- Follow instructions, complete general tasks as directed by the foreman, and additional tasks as directed by the foreman.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Mechanical aptitude and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a fabrication shop.
- Registered with AIT
- Punctuality, reliability, and ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Commitment to wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Strong work ethic, adaptability, and innovative thinking.
- Decision-making skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective time management.
- Accountability, dependability, and a team-oriented approach.
- Exposure to various fumes in shop facilities.
- Willingness to work overtime as assigned by supervisors.
- Complete additional tasks as directed by foreman.
