**Hearthstone by the Lake **is a premium SENIORS luxury retirement condominium located on the corner of Lakeshore Road and Burloak Drive on the **border of Burlington and Oakville**.

We are seeking a full-time **Concierge.**

Hearthstone by the Lake, a luxury senior condo in Burlington, is seeking a full-time concierge with a security license or a willingness to obtain one (company-paid). You will be the first point of contact for both residents and visitors. Excellent customer service will be your focus. You must process a desire to work with seniors and their families. A firm grasp of the English language, both spoken and written, is mandatory. Computer skills required
- (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficient). Shifts are a mix of 7 am - 3 pm & 3 pm - 11 pm, and every other weekend, some holidays, 75 hours bi-weekly. Health benefits and pension options after three months of employment. Uniform provided.

- Delivery of exceptional customer service at all levels of departmental contact
- Operate and maintain an organized front desk environment. Receive and direct all deliveries, announce guests & visitors, and assist residents with making appointments, providing directions, and responding to general inquiries, including real estate and sales calls. Complete general administrative duties as directed, including answering switchboard and basic correspondence.
- Enforce property rules to maintain the security and safety of clients and their assets
- Supervise the entering and exiting of the building to ensure only residents and their guests are on site.
- Monitor CCTV and card access systems
- Ensure that safety and emergency protocols are completed in response to Fire Alarms and other Site Emergencies
- Complete walking patrols and inspections of facilities and equipment
- Duties as otherwise assigned
- Monitor the safety and security regulations defined by the condominium and Hearthstone Club and follow up. Ensure occupants and designated areas are secured as instructed
- Respond to emergencies as instructed and liaise with emergency officials as required, including fire alarm, emergency call system, and security equipment
- A thorough knowledge of the area in terms of public transportation, location of shopping, medical centres, and attractions
- Comply with Public Health Department, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Employment Standards Act, Private Security, and Investigative Services Act (PSISA) in the province of Ontario and corporate policies
- Control and prevent noise, smoking, and other disturbances caused on site.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- All applicants must meet the following without exception:

- Authorized to work in Canada
- Must speak and write fluent English
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be physically able to perform security job
- Have a valid Ontario Security Guard License (Or willing to take the License at our expense)
- Wear official uniform as provided
