The Opportunity

As a Project Manager you will be a key contributor to the management of facilities regulated programs to achieve reliable operation and continuous improvement of all assets located within TC Energy's Canadian pipeline systems.

The Project Manager is an individual contributor who will work closely with other internal and external stakeholders, including Canada Gas Operations, Integrated Planning, and Engineering, to plan, organize and execute the facilities regulated programs. In this role, we will rely on you to provide strong technical, project management, organizational, and communication skills and to develop the knowledge of our systems, processes and tools required to plan and execute the program.

**Primary location is Bolton, ON (however will consider Calgary, Airdrie and Winnipeg)**

What you’ll do- Supervise and manage General Plant Maintenance Capital (GPMC) projects for process safety critical equipment, including turbocompressor equipment and auxiliary systems, balance of plant equipment- Oversee various maintenance projects to ensure all applicable regulatory and corporate requirements are met.- Perform time and cost management of the programs and projects, including budgets and schedules, managing project cost change control and variance reporting of cost, scope and schedule and risk- Provide bi-weekly and monthly updates on project performance metrics- Direct and manage the work of external consultants and contractors- Effectively collaborate with the internal stakeholders' and understand their expectations and expert contributions and how they can contribute to the program or project success- Optimize and align field resources to support field implementation- Identify data integrity improvements and cost savings through analysis of the programs- Support the development and implementation of TC Energy’s project management tools, standards and processes to support the implementation of regulated programs within Canada- Identify opportunities for value creation and efficiency improvements to reduce overall project costs

Minimum qualifications- 6 years of related project management experience- Familiarity with project management principles and practices-
- Proven ability to embrace and lead change and quickly understand new processes and related issues- Bachelor’s degree in engineering

Preferred qualifications- 8-10 years of related experience- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification will be an asset- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university (Professional Engineer, P.Eng in good standing)- Ability to influence and exercise leadership without formal authority- Leadership skills in delegation, negotiation, communication and consensus building to coordinate work to meet objectives- Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract for review- Travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings or training which would involve some overnight stays away from home (up to 25%)
