Retail Customer Experience Supervisor

The Nooks is looking for a highly motivated Customer Experience Supervisor to join our growing Niagara-On-The-Lake team As a Customer Experience Supervisor your primary responsibility is to support the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager by providing leadership and direction to the team and assisting with all aspects of day-to-day operations ensuring our high standards of customer service, store image and store operations are met. You will fully support and partner with Nookie’s to maximize their business and build lasting relationships.
**What will a Customer Experience Supervisor do?**
- Ensure our customers and Nookie’s have a positive and lasting impression of their experience
- Deliver positive customer sales experiences during every interaction, while also ensuring that all customers are greeted in a warm and welcoming manner
- Maximize retail store growth by cross selling products and upselling our in store food and beverage offerings
- Responsible for opening/closing store
- Ensure effective zone coverage with break schedules maintained
- Ensure the store is visually appealing and contributes to company standards through product presentation, replenishment, store housekeep & store maintenance.
- Work with existing team members to help create new creative store displays
- Coach and motivate your team to deliver great results
- Delegate store tasks and ensure compliance of store policies and procedures
- Assist Store Manager in effectively managing employee turnover by maximizing retention through effective leadership, training and performance management.
- Protect the company’s assets and profits by ensuring loss prevention policies are respected by all team members in the store
- Understand and adhere to health and safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Perform work in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and laws or regulations
- Additional duties as assigned by management team
Retail Sales Skills And Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
- 3+ years experience in sales, retail, or customer service environments
- 2+ years experience in a leadership position in sales, retail or customer service environment
- Experience in team leadership & facilitation of work
- Experience, and comfort using, a variety for computer software programs
- Knowledge of Business administration
