Overview:
I am seeking a skilled laborer to join me in renovating client's homes. As a skilled laborer, you will play a crucial role in various renovation and small construction projects. This is a hands-on position that requires experience and expertise in performing a wide range of tasks. A big part of our focus is start to finish bathroom renovations so experience in all that is involved will be and asset.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform general construction tasks as directed by the employer
- Operate and maintain various hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist with various construction tasks such as careful demolition, framing, flooring, tile, drywall...
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Deal with clients in a respectful and courteous manner at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a skilled laborer in renovations or related field. Willing to train applicants who demonstrate potential and a willingness to learn.
- Strong knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and materials
- Ability to understand instructions and ask questions if anything is unclear.
- Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to sites in Edmonton and surrounding area

Preferred Skills:

- Certification or training in a specific trade (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, electrical) not necessary but an asset.
- Preference given to those with tile
- setting experience.

The salary will be proportional to experience.

**Salary**: $20.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 42 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
