**Job Opportunity: Experienced Immigration and Refugee Paralegal**

Are you a skilled paralegal with a passion for immigration and refugee law? Our busy and growing law office in the Greater Toronto Area is dedicated to providing exceptional immigration and refugee services. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced **Paralegal - Immigration and Refugee Specialist** to join us as a **contractor** and make a meaningful impact.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with refugee claims, appeals, and judicial reviews.
- Communicate with government agencies, tribunals, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with changes in immigration laws and policies.
- Draft and submit legal documents, affidavits, and other required materials.
- Manage case files and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Provide excellent client service and maintain confidentiality.

**Qualifications**:

- **Minimum 3 years of experience** as a paralegal in immigration and refugee law.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Canadian immigration policies, procedures, and practices.
- Strong understanding of IRCC, CBSA, and IRB processes.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Fluency in additional languages (e.g., French, Arabic, Spanish, etc.) is an asset.
- Paralegal license in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
