**Hourly Rate of $17.00**

This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for children. The position assists with supervising the children in the daycare Centre.

**WHAT WILL I BE DOING?**
- Assist with a daily program encouraging growth in all 5 developmental areas for children in the Centre; plan activities and implement programs
- Ensures all activities including lunch, rest time, outdoor play and ski lessons are being properly supervised;
- Maintains a clean child care that is free of potentially harmful elements; checks outdoor playground for potentially harmful elements;
- Records any incidents of a health and safety nature in log in the centre; reports such incidents to the Manager;
- Actively participates in resort recreation activities with the children in the centre; some lifting required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- ECE Diploma or equivalent is an asset
- Experience working with children in a group environment is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Successful applicants (18 yrs or older) will be required to provide a Criminal Background Check (Vulnerable Sector Search)
