**Assistant Controller**

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller for our growing team in the Edmonton area. The Assistant Controller will support the Controller in all aspects of finance. This position will be based out of our Nisku office location. Victor Energy offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefit package

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Financial Services
- Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Maintenance
- Bank and other balance sheet reconciliations
- Job Cost Accounting
- Fixed Asset management and accounting
- Intercompany billings and reconciliations
- Payroll accounting
- Monthly tax filings for three companies (GST, PST)
- Updating financial data to ensure the accuracy of the information
- Assist with monthly job cost reporting and financial statement preparation
- Processing financial entries, ensuring proper recording of business transactions
- Other responsibilities as assigned

**Requirements**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- CPA designation preferred (Canada or equivalent)
- Business/Accounting Degree or Diploma with equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years related experience
- Job costing and WIP calculation experience required
- Knowledge of banking platforms and different electronic payment methods required
- Pivot table knowledge required
- Self-assessed PST knowledge preferred
- Payroll knowledge preferred
