Manulife is seeking a strategic and visionary leader to serve as **Director, Global Colleague Community Engagement**

**Position Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic Leadership**:Design and execute a global colleague engagement strategy that reflects Manulife’s purpose, values, and business priorities.
- **Program Development**:Lead initiatives that promote volunteerism, social impact, and community involvement, ensuring relevance across geographies and cultures.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**:Partner with HR, Learning & Development, and Communications to embed community engagement into the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding to leadership development.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and regional leaders to gather insights, co-create solutions, and ensure alignment.
- **Communications & Storytelling**:Develop compelling narratives and communication strategies to showcase community initiatives across internal and external channels.
- **Measurement & Insights**:Establish KPIs and leverage data to evaluate program effectiveness, inform strategy, and drive continuous improvement.
- **Team Leadership**:Manage and mentor a global team of engagement professionals, fostering innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
- **Thought Leadership**:Stay ahead of global trends in employee experience, community engagement, and social impact, bringing fresh ideas and best practices to the organization.

**Required Qualifications**:

- A combination of education and progressive experience in employee engagement, organizational development, corporate communications, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years leading initiatives in employee engagement, community development, or social impact—ideally including global program leadership and people management experience.
- 2-5 years of people leadership experience.
- Creative, proactive, nimble, and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and geographies, with comfort with navigating ambiguity and a large matrixed organization.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and using insights to inform decision-making.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in insurance or financial services is an asset, though not required.
