**Overview**

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Overnight Seniors' Companion to provide essential care and support to seniors during the night. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our senior clients.

**Duties**

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients during the evening hours.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a comfortable living environment.
  • Ensure the safety of clients throughout the night by monitoring and responding to their needs.
  • Cue clients with morning care routines, as required.

**Qualifications**

  • Experience working with seniors, particularly those living with dementia.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and respond calmly in emergencies.
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanour.
  • Up-to-date CPR and First Aid (company can set you up with training if you don't have it).
  • Clean criminal reference check for the vulnerable sector.
  • Food Handlers' Certificate (company can set you up with training if you don't have it).
  • DementiAbility (formerly Montessori Methods for Dementia) training is an asset.

**Other**

  • This position does not involve hands-on personal care; duties are limited to companionship, cueing, and monitoring.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
