Overview:
**Qualifications and Skills**:
Registered and in good standing as a physician Assistant with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba

Recent clinical experience is an asset, especially in areas with complex patients

Must be able to work both independently and as part of multidisciplinary team

Excellent communication skills **required**

Recent experience using an EMR, particularly Accuro

Recent experience working in an outpatient setting an asset

Acts professionally and responsibly

Shows a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn

License through CPSM to practice as a physician Assistant (preferred)

**Responsibilities & Duties**:
Conduct history and physical on patients

Performing physical examinations

Ordering and interpreting tests

Diagnosing and treating illness,

Developing management plans

Communicating with patients, discussing issues, and delivering results

Assist physician in care of patients

Provide education to patients and family

Counseling on preventative health care

Navigate complex patients in an outpatient setting

Proficiently use EMR to document encounters

Position consists of 3 days with Dr. Khosravi in Internal Medicine and 2 days with Dr. Khoshnam in Neurology.
