Currently Jadaco provides its services to more than 100 facilities across the GTA. We are looking for a presentable, reliable **full-time **staff who is self-motivated, personable and interested in the fitness/social field to service the London, ON area.

**COMPENSATION/RATE OF PAY**:Negotiable

**WORK SCHEDULE**:Typically Mon - Fri with some Saturday necessary

**JOB SUMMARY**:The Fitness Equipment Repair Technician will travel to various commercial customer locations across the area to test, isolate faults and repair various fitness equipment. Other duties when necessary.

**Knowledge, skills, abilities, and qualifications required**:

- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of stakeholders (i.e. residents, building management, and head office management).
- Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, biannual, and annual preventative maintenance.
- Respond to all service requests in dedicated locations, and deliver results based on the assigned timetable for repairs Inspect and test motors to diagnose and isolate faults.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment without damage.
- Inspect and test to diagnose and isolate faults.
- Adjust, repair or replace parts using hand tools and equipment.
- Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
- Complete work orders in a timely and accurate manner using a scheduling app, then submit to head office
- Advise supervisor and customers on work performed and condition of equipment through reviewing work orders
- Complete additional reports

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**:

- Completion of a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Or equivalent experience
- Or a combination of 1 year to 2 years of work experience in the trade and some college courses
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain fitness equipment to ensure that all are working consistently
- Ability and knowledge in the use of all tools, equipment, and material used for adjustments, repairs, and replacements
- Capable of handling/moving equipment in excess of 100 lbs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage timetables and meet deadlines
- Flexible work schedule allowing for immediate responses to facilities emergencies
- Strong written and oral communication required
- Able to work in a team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication in English
- Good judgement

**Other Requirements**:

- Valid G class drivers license
- Clean drivers record check (abstract)
