**Reports to**: Operations Manager

**Job Summary**: As a Yard Labourer at Scafom-rux, you will play an essential role in ensuring the efficient organization and maintenance of the yard where scaffolding materials are stored. This position is responsible for several yard tasks, shipping and receiving, counting and sorting scaffold equipment, and assisting with operating and spotting heavy equipment, while ensuring safety and efficiency standards are upheld.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Preparing scaffold shipments and receivers.
- Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with inventory counting and quantity controls.
- Assisting with operation of heavy machinery and equipment.
- Following all health and safety regulations.
- Packaging for restocking
- Packing orders
- Adhere to company and industry safety standards, including wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and following protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Other tasks assigned by the supervisor

**Qualifications**:

- Able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively
- Able to work in all weather conditions (including extreme cold, heat, and inclement weather).
- Ability to work well in a team and take direction.
- Must be able to manage varied requests and prioritize accordingly

**Physical & Psychological Working Conditions/Requirements**:

- The work is performed in an open field environment requiring long standing periods. lifting, bending, and crouching required.
- This role is in a yard or warehouse setting, where the employee may be exposed to varying weather conditions.
- Deadline pressures, stress of multi-tasking, communicating, and interacting diplomatically with clients, supervisors and co-workers.
- Respect, honesty and sound work ethics are important attributes.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and focus on day-to-day activities and interactions required.
- Professional demeanor at all times when dealing with clients, employees and others.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
