**DUTIES AND ABILITIES**:

- Safe operation of machinery
- Excellent communication
- Maintain track infrastructure i.e rails, ties, switches, surface, ballast etc.
- Able to demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of Tamper and Regulator operations, track alignment, and inspection
- Ensure a safe working environment while following the policies and procedures set forth by the company.
- Maintain and protect company assets
- Available for shift work, with occasional overtime when necessary
- Available for long periods of travel, including overnights
- Other duties as assigned

**EQUIPMENT SPECIFIC**:

- Tamper Operators
- Regulator Operators
- Spiker Operators
- Skid Steer Operators
- Speed Swing Operators

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Valid Class 5, or 3a Licence where required
- Ability to pass CROR
- Minimum 3 years working in the rail industry
- Must clear a Drug and Alcohol test
- TIGs Certification an asset
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Demonstrate good teamwork and maintain positive interactions with others
- Displays common sense and good judgment
- Hand-eye coordination

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime

**Experience**:

- Railroad: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- TIGs (Track Inspection Guidelines) (preferred)
- Class 5 Licence (required)
- CROR (Canadian Rail Operating Rules) (required)

Work Location: On the road
