**Shanghai Construction Group Canada Corporation**is a Construction Company for Building and Tunneling. Now we are hiring Heavy Equipment Operators for the Tunneling Division.

**Responsibilities**:

- Able to demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of Excavator and Bobcat operations
- Responsible to conduct mechanical & safety inspections as required and report necessary maintenance and repairs
- Responsible for various administrative tasks in regard to production reports, timekeeping, etc
- Be willing to work evenings, weekends, and overtime when necessary (8-12-hour shifts; 5-7 days a week).
- Encompassing good communication skills for the ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, etc. in a courteous, and professional manner at all times.
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures
- Other duties may be assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of **5+ years** of experience operating excavator in a professional capacity
- Experience with **Zoom Boom operation is an asset**:

- Able to pass pre-employment Alcohol and Drug Test
- **Heavy equipment operators’ ticket**, and **ground disturbance ticket are mandatory**:

- Fall Pro, CSE, H2S Alive and other safety tickets are assets

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
