**Job Summary**

**Overview**

The Brand Ambassador reports to the Regional Sales Manager and will work remotely throughout their region, while being supported by Head office in Truro NS. This position will play a key role in increasing brand awareness by building and managing relationships with prospective and existing accounts. The Brand Ambassador is responsible for promoting Truro brand awareness by actively engaging and educating retailers and consumers.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Independently manage your territory (organize routes to ensure efficiency between sites/clients) and operating according to Cannabis Regulations, corporate policies and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with staff and retail owners/managers at assigned retail locations.
- Maintain regular communication with stores; expand existing partnerships and identify sales opportunities.
- Support retail partners (with assets: merch, sell sheets, samples where permitted). This will involve regular visits to retail stores and completing in-store activities to directly engage clients and consumers.
- Responsible for activities: Hosting Budtender education and training sessions, store activations, product knowledge sessions, organize and execute all in-store pop-up promotions, swag give aways and distributions, organize product displays.
- Travel: Monthly visits to out of province stores and attend trade shows to support Sales Team as required.
- Document client activity, feedback, accomplishments and Report key insights or data by communicating regularly with the manager and utilizing the business reporting tool as provided.
- Participate in regular meetings (Sales calls) as required and submit timely reports as needed.
- Other duties as operationally required.

**Experience and Education**
- Degree/Diploma related to Sales/Business or any other applicable discipline and 1+ years in a Sales role
- Experience in building strong business relationships and developing sales strategies.
- Previous experience in cannabis sales and territory management is an asset
- Prior knowledge/experience with Cannabis industry is a requirement.

**Competencies (knowledge, skills, abilities)**
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, verbal and written.
- Superior prioritization skills with the ability to learn quickly and work independently.
- A team player with a professional attitude, able to self-direct work, prepare reports and deliver presentations

**Requirements**:
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada & Must be 19 years of age or older.

Must have Valid driver’s license with clean drivers abstract and proof of insurance and working vehicle.

Successfully pass a criminal record check and other security-related requirements

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
