**Position Title: Multi
- Age Daycare ECE Manager**
**Location**: Little KINlings
**Terms**:Permanent, Full-Time: 40 hours/week
**Shift**: Monday to Friday, with varying shifts between 7:30AM - 5:00PM
**Salary**: $22-$24/hr + Benefits (plus an additional $4/hour for Licensed ECE’s as per the ECE Wage Enhancement Initiative)
Ideal Start Date: As soon as possible
Reports To: Director

**About Little Cheekers**:
This program offers a nature-based and enriched program tailored to each childThis program is for parents who support the idea that children are entitled to be free to explore, experiment and discover in the outdoors. We recognise the profound and positive impact that being outdoors has on a childhood, which is why we include several hours of outside play and activities each day.

We are a nature based Daycare and located in Langley with a maximum of 8 children under the age of 5.

**Nature & Scope**:
The Manager will work directly within the early childhood program, managing daily operations, along with providing care and creative programming for children in a group setting.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- To facilitate the planning and implementation of a consistent child-led program.
- To maintain and complete administrative tasks in an accurate manner and within prescribed timelines, including (but not limited to) staff scheduling, incident reports, files, inventory, and supply ordering
- To assist and maintain/increase/sustain enrolment at approved capacities.
- To establish and maintain positive daily communication and interaction with families
- To provide leadership and work with Centre staff, to maintain a well-organized, safe and clean environment, including all activity and program areas, common spaces, and washrooms
- To interact directly with the children, providing quality care and creative programming
- To ensure that all safety and supervision standards are implemented and maintained according to Child Care Facility Licensing (CCFL) and legal requirements

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- BC Early Childhood Educator License to Practice required
- Infant/Toddler License to Practice an asset
- One to three years of team-lead or administration experience related to childcare
- Current First Aid certificate
- Criminal Record Check

Class 4 License an asset
