**Shift**:Morning
- Installing new overhead doors, including assembling door sections, and installing tracks, springs, cables, hinges, rollers, and other hardware components. Ensuring proper alignment and operation of the door.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks on overhead doors to ensure their longevity and optimal performance. This can involve lubricating moving parts, adjusting tension and balance, inspecting springs and cables, and tightening hardware.
- Diagnosing and repairing issues with overhead doors, such as malfunctioning openers, broken springs, damaged panels, faulty sensors, or misaligned tracks. Replacing or repairing damaged components to restore proper functionality.
- Ensuring that overhead doors operate safely and meet applicable safety regulations. Checking and adjusting safety features like photo-eye sensors, auto-reverse mechanisms, and emergency release systems.
- Interacting with customers, assessing their needs, and providing recommendations for door replacements, upgrades, or repairs. Offering excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, providing estimates, and explaining repair options.
- Analyzing problems with overhead doors, identifying the root causes, and determining the most appropriate solutions. Employing problem-solving skills and technical knowledge to resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts replaced. Generating reports and invoices for customers, documenting warranty information, and keeping track of inventory.
- Following safety protocols and guidelines while working with overhead doors and associated equipment. Adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and maintaining a safe working environment.

**Job Specification**
- Must have 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
- Proficiency in understanding and working with mechanical systems and components.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals related to overhead door installation and repair.
- Knowledge of various types of overhead doors, including their components, operation, and functionality.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and wiring related to garage door openers and safety features.
- Understanding of overhead doors' electrical circuits, sensors, and safety mechanisms.
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose issues with overhead doors and identify effective solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, using analytical thinking and logical reasoning.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools required for installing, repairing, and adjusting overhead doors.
- Physical fitness and ability to handle the job’s physical demands, including lifting heavy doors, bending, and working in various positions.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to overhead door installation and repair.
- Commitment to following safety practices to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
- Strong attention to detail to accurately diagnose issues and perform precise adjustments and repairs.
- Thoroughness in ensuring that all components and systems are properly installed and aligned.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
