WHAT TO EXPECT

Working closely with the Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will contribute to maintaining efficient accounts payable management. In addition, you will provide regular support to the payroll department, but more specifically during the payroll technician's vacation period.

**Here's an overview of your tasks**:
Create, update and balance accounts payable
Enter invoices into the system, generate weekly payment proposals, verify account statements, address discrepancies and follow up with the various parties involved.
Provide support for the management of the accounts payable inbox
Produce various types of analysis reports related to accounts payable
Support the Accounts Payable Coordinator in the performance of various tasks
Act as support for the payroll department
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
DEC in accounting, administration or equivalent training
Minimum of one year's experience in payroll and/or accounts payable

**Proficiency in Office suite**: Excel, Word and Outlook
Knowledge of an ERP such as D365 will be considered an asset
Fluency in English to ensure communication with our English suppliers will be considered an asset

Organizational skills, autonomy, resourcefulness and initiative
Thoroughness, attention to detail and a strong emphasis on compliance with procedures
Ability to work in a team, tact and diplomacy
Discretion and concern for confidentiality
