- National Bank Capital Markets is recruiting for Summer internship Analyst positions within Corporate and Investment Banking for our offices in Montreal, Toronto and Calgary. Positions are available within the following teams: Credit Capital Markets.

**Internship availabilities**:

Credit Capital Markets**: Corporate Banking, Loan Structuring & Syndication and Loan Portfolio Management teams collaborate to offer structuring and syndication to large corporations for project financing, merger and acquisition transactions, and corporate financing solutions.

**O**ur Program**:
Our internship program offers dynamic hands-on exposure working alongside seasoned professionals and assisting members of the team in executing their responsibilities.

**T**he expected qualifications**are**:

- Undergraduate or master’s program student and legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Capital markets and financial industry enthusiast.
- Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented, organized, proactive and high level of intellectual curiosity.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills with the specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely.
- Strong analytical skills and good understanding of basic accounting rules/concepts.
- Aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions.
- Robust PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills for modelling, valuations, etc.
- Capacity to manage projects independently and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of the team.
- Team player with the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Outstanding ethics, integrity and judgement.
- Ability to comfortably interact with clients in a professional and mature manner.
- Strong academic track record and pertinent extracurricular activities
- Bilingualism is an asset (French required for Montreal internships).
