**The Opportunity**:
As a Specialty Group fitness instructor, you help to enhance the quality of life of Airdrie residents by purposefully creating memorable experiences, lasting relationships and classes that are developed in alignment with Fitness Alberta standards for group exercise professionals, as well as best practice standards in Tai Chi.

Responsibilities include:

- Deliver high quality specialty group fitness classes to our participants using safe, effective, and fun exercises and engaging music
- Motivate and inspire confidence in our participants
- Develop and implement class plans that cater to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners
- Provide personalized instruction and feedback to help members improve their technique and achieve their fitness goals
- Educate members on the principles and benefits of Tai Chi, including its impact on physical health, mental clarity, and stress reduction
- Maintain a positive and motivating atmosphere in the studio
- Ensure the studio is clean and organized before and after classes

**You Bring**:

- Minimum 18 years of age
- Current Standard First Aid/CPR C and AED required
- Accredited Tai Chi certification
- Strong knowledge of Tai Chi principles, techniques, and benefits
- Current Fitness Alberta or equivalent certifications (ie: CanFitPro FIS) in Group Exercise would be considered assets
- Possess additional Fitness Alberta certifications or equivalent in specialties such as; TRX, Cycling, Portable Equipment, Resistance, Pre & Post Natal, Step, Zumba and Choreography would be considered assets
- Experience and demonstrated skills teaching group fitness techniques required
- Proven background in providing exceptional customer service
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Mature and reliable
