- Take customer orders and process payments using the POS system
- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and food safety guidelines
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the restaurant, including dining area, kitchen, and restrooms
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and cooking basic menu items
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of food products to minimize waste
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Follow all safety procedures and adhere to food handling regulations
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant or customer service environment is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is a plus
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and coworkers
