Water Well Driller Helper

Edson, Canada Ashburn Drilling Ltd. Full time

Seeking class 3 drivers to assist drillers. Work consists of driving pipe truck to site (oilfield, mine sites, private acreages), and assisting with setting up, shoveling drill cuttings, installing casing, etc. Workers must be a team player with a good attitude, be physically fit, able to lift at least 50 lbs, and willing to work outside year round. Hours vary depending on job and season, average 8-12 hours per day, 5-7 days per week. Class 3 license required. Water well experience and oilfield tickets are an asset but willing to provide training for the right applicants. Apprenticeship opportunities exist for those willing to learn. Based in Edson, Alberta but must be willing to work out of town for short periods of time depending on jobs. A clean pre-hire Drug and Alcohol test is required. Hotels and subsistence pay is provided for out of town jobs, but not for our everyday local work.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
