Genesis Security is seeking an experienced, service-focused **Site Security Manager** to lead operations at one of downtown Vancouver’s busiest and most prestigious venues for global conferences, trade shows, and high-profile public events.

This role is ideal for a confident leader with a background in security, customer service, and event operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all event and security activities, leading a large team, and maintaining high standards in security protocols, staff training, and guest safety.

**Your Mission**:
To ensure a secure and welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and event clients while leading a professional security team in a fast-paced, high-profile setting hosting over 500 events annually.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular risk and threat assessments
- Provide strategic leadership and supervision for all on-site security personnel
- Develop, review, and implement emergency response and incident protocols
- Oversee day-to-day security operations, shift coordination, and scheduling
- Manage staff performance, training, and development
- Implement effective security data and information management systems
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all company, client, and regulatory security standards
- Serve as the main point of contact for client representatives and venue stakeholders

**Your Qualifications**:

- Valid BC Security Worker License and BC Class 5 Driver’s License
- Minimum 3-5 years of security leadership experience, preferably in events, hospitality, or large venue operations
- Background in customer service, event coordination, hospitality, or retail an asset
- Experience in incident reporting, de-escalation, and emergency response planning
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with systems such as Celayix and or EBMS
- Professional demeanor, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to team leadership
- Able to build cohesive teams, manage change, and motivate others under pressure
- Post-secondary education in security administration, business, or a related field is an asset

**Work Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday, full time office hours
- Flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays as needed for major events

**Compensation**:

- Starting from $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience
