Conditions of Employment:

- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in both English and French.

Qualifications:
**Essential**:

- Experience providing secretarial and/or administrative support such as: receiving/distributing mail, answering telephone inquiries, photocopying, maintaining office supplies, electronic and manual filing.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, specifically, Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines and work within tight timelines.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of staff and the general public, both in person and by phone.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment with all levels of staff.
- Experience working with highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English and French.
- Excellent written communication skills in English and French.

**Duties**:
Reporting to the Administrative Services Manager for supervision and workload management, the incumbent is responsible for providing receptionist, switchboard and office support services in a community office within Winnipeg Child and Family Services. These responsibilities include but are not limited to; answering telephone calls, responding to client questions, monitoring safety issues in family visiting rooms/meeting rooms, opening and distributing mail.
