**Job Summary**:

- Tilray is a global leader in the cannabis industry, and we are looking for a talented Jr. Pricing Analyst to join the team. As the Jr. Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Analyst, Category Insights and Pricing through market analysis and providing actionable insights on pricing across 13 regional markets. You will use your expertise and knowledge of the industry to effectively analyze data and provide meaningful insights that will help inform pricing and business decisions. You will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities for business growth and continuous improvement. **A Day in a life of.**
- As the Jr. Pricing Insights Analyst you will support the Canadian cannabis business in conducting research and analysis that provide valuable data-driven insights to assist in price changes, innovation pricing, promotional execution, key initiative deployment, department development, and cross-functional alignment. A key part of the role involves pricing data management, tracking and updating pricing changes in the system as they are approved

**Duties & Responsibilities***:

- Prepare regional pricing analysis for primary and secondary markets, and present research to cross-functional teams (marketing, sales) with the goal of aligning on pricing decisions.
- Prepare pricing recommendations (MSRPs) for new product innovations, and calculate customer landed prices, wholesale prices, and revenue net of excise.
- Administration of approved price changes in our ERP software (RootStock) and master spreadsheets.
- Investigating pricing discrepancies to adjust prices to match customer purchase orders.
- Develop post-price-change analysis for past price changes
- Assisting with preparing regional category presentations and analysis from a pricing perspective.
- Work with the BI (Business Intelligence) team on process improvements and dashboards; leverage existing dashboards and data sources when developing analysis and insights.
- Special projects, presentations, and ad hoc analysis.
- Working with the cross-functional team on pricing initiatives.
- Periodic review and analysis of medical pricing.
- Keep pricing files and approvals organized.

**Qualifications**
- The ability to work with a wide variety of individuals within the organization and maintain regular contact with all stakeholders.
- A high degree of self-motivation and discipline.
- Knowledgeable about industry players, brands, and products.
- Understand the fundamentals of economics (supply, demand, elasticity), accounting (COGs, margins, growth, price slope, breakeven).
- Adept at using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (intermediate to advanced).
- Computer savvy and data-driven.
- Strong work ethic and a learning mindset.
- Effective time management skills.
- Experience in CPG, at a cannabis LP, or at a cannabis retailer is an asset.
- Experience with PowerBI is an asset.
