Napanee's plant is looking fora Production Associate to join the team

A talent who is eager and motivated to work in a fast growing company.

The Production Associate supports manufacturing operations by following all Environmental, Health, and Safety policies, while maintaining a clean and organized work environment in accordance with the 5S checklist. This role safely operates assigned production equipment such as the floor scrubber, embosser, puncher, miter saw, regrind equipment, and combi-lifts where trained. The Production Associate restocks essential supplies including washroom and PPE dispensers when required, performs quality checks to ensure all materials meet specifications, and promptly reports any quality concerns to the supervisor. In addition, the Production Associate assists with various production tasks as needed to support efficiency and team success. By maintaining a safe and organized work environment, the Production Associate plays a crucial role in delivering reliable and consistent products that meet customer demands and contribute to the overall success of the production team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work in accordance with all EHS policies and procedures
- Ensure general areas of the facility are maintained as per the Production Associate 5S checklist
- Restocking supplies for washrooms, PPE dispensers, if required
- Assist in production with other tasks as required and where trained
- Safely operate various types of production equipment:

- Floor scrubber
- Embosser
- Puncher
- Mitre saw
- Regrind
- Combi-lifts
- Other equipment as needed

- Ensure all materials are produced to specification and escalate and quality concerns immediately to your supervisor

**IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?**

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Mathematical and measuring skills
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Rotating shift schedule ( 12 hours / 7 - 7)
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Previous manufacturing experience considered an asset.**

**Skills**:
The job demands a good level of:

- Strong knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety practices.
- Proficient in extrusion processes and techniques.
- Expertise in process control and optimization.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Experience in product and process validation methodologies.
- Skilled in identifying non-conformities and implementing corrective actions.
