**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Manager, the Team Lead is responsible for the organization and the supervision of the daily operation of the ** specialty areas ** in the Division of Diagnostic Imaging at Nova Scotia Health. In addition to the above-noted supervisory role, the successful applicant will also perform clinical duties within their fields of competency.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology
- Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification
Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
- Minimum (3) three years’ recent experience required working as a technologist in a hospital setting
- Formal management course preferred
- Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibilities in a multi-modality/site imaging department.
- Ensures competency, and maintains an ongoing interest in updating knowledge on new equipment and procedures
- Practices excellent patient care; demonstrating courtesy, kindness and understanding using effective communication skills
- Strong organizational skills that demonstrate the ability to prioritize upon short notice while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Well-developed decision-making, analytical, interpretation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Conflict management skills and knowledge of appropriate resources
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

- Permanent full-time position; 75 hours biweekly

**Compensation and Benefits**:
$33.97 - $42.89 hourly
