- Our Maintenance and Turf Care team is seeking detail-orientated, energetic, safety-minded, hardworking team members for full-time seasonal employment. At the best maintained commercial site in the Edmonton area. We are looking for a team member to join our 5 person crew to assist with grounds maintenance & turf care at a very high end site with better maintenance standards then most golf courses.

Crew members will work 40 to 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday. You will safely perform property maintenance and landscaping duties including:

- 2 to 3 days a week will be focused on turf care. Operating ride-on and/or walking mowing equipment etc.
- 1 to 2 days a week will be focused on plant material maintenance, including pruning, weeding, edging and other assorted landscape maintenance.
- Occasional other landscape maintenance work using hand tools for detail landscape work.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain and operate landscaping and turf care equipment
- Complete landscape construction and physical labour tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
- Safely operate various equipment and tools
- Promote and demonstrate safety leadership and safe work practices at all times
- Maintain positive client and consultant relationships
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- High attention to detail regarding landscape and turf care maintenance
- Experience operating sit-down and stand-up ride mowers, hand mowers, leaf blowers, weed trimmers, and a variety of hand and power tools
- Reliable, team-oriented and ability to work to work independently without supervision
- Open to continuous learning and training opportunities
- Excellent organizational and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take direction from site supervisor and management as well as mentor and guide crew members
- Aptitude for physical, outdoor work
- Ability to maintain high standard of operational and safety excellence
- Ability to provide own transportation to site
- Strong understanding and knowledge of landscape maintenance and turf care
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

**Rate of pay**

$22.00 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and landscape and turf care knowledge.
