This role is ideal for those with a passion for craftsmanship, team leadership, and executing intricate design-build projects that include pergolas, paver patios, outdoor kitchens, masonry work, pool installations, and more. You will lead your crew to execute each project with precision, efficiency, and world-class quality. **Key Responsibilities**: - **Lead and Manage the Crew**: Inspire, mentor, and supervise a high-performance hardscape team with a focus on efficiency and quality. - **Project Planning & Execution**: Plan and schedule daily tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal crew productivity. - **Master Craftsmanship**: Execute tasks such as excavation, base preparation, stone cutting, and installation using industry-leading techniques. - **Quality Control**: Conduct quality inspections to ensure our work exceeds industry standards and client expectations. - **Client Communication**: Engage with clients professionally to confirm their vision is being brought to life, keeping them updated throughout the project. - **Equipment Management**: Oversee the use and maintenance of trucks, excavators, loaders, and all other necessary equipment. - **Safety Leadership**: Promote and enforce safe work practices, ensuring the crew follows all safety protocols. - **Problem Solving**: Identify and address on-site challenges swiftly and effectively, collaborating with Project Managers when necessary. - **Training & Development**: Mentor crew members, providing training in efficient and safe work practices aligned with the Leanscaper Method. - **Documentation**: Track crew hours, material usage, and project progress via our app for streamlined reporting. **What You Bring to the Table**: - Minimum of **2+ years of experience** in hardscape construction or a related field. - Proven **leadership experience**—you know how to inspire and drive your team to high performance. - Deep understanding of **hardscape installation techniques** including cutting, leveling, base preparation, and more. - Experience operating landscape equipment such as **concrete saws, laser levels, and heavy machinery.**: - **Valid driver’s license** with a clean driving record. - Physical capability to **lift up to 50 lbs** and work outdoors in all weather conditions. - Excellent **communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.** **Preferred Qualifications**: - **Mechanical experience** with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. - **Bilingual** (English/Spanish) is a plus. - **First-aid and CPR certification** is an asset. **Career Path & Growth Opportunities**: We believe in building leaders, not just laborers.
