Carling Motors is looking for a **Shop Helper/Apprentice Technician **to** join our team Whether you are just starting your apprenticeship, or a few years in, we have the right position for you. We have been servicing the Ottawa area for over 60 years and pride ourselves on offering top tier service to all of our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Examine vehicles based on customer requests or concerns
- Perform basic maintenance, including changing motor oil, rotating tires, installing tires and checking fluid levels
- Identify mechanical problems with the help of licensed technicians
- Ensure customer satisfaction at all times with professional cleanliness and procedures when customer vehicles are entering and/or exiting the shop.
- Clean, sanitize and maintain shop condition to professional standard.
- Follow Health and Safety Guidelines
- Expected to have a positive attitude and promote a healthy work environment.

**Requirements**:

- An Energetic Team Player with a Passion to Fix It Right the First Time.
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Automotive experience would be an asset
- Valid Driver’s License with Clean Abstract
