We are a new entrant in the food and beverage industry with a focus on plant-based food products that are tasty, sustainable and convenient. Our core team has over 100 combined years of culinary, marketing, engineering, and food science expertise in creating and developing novel and innovative products.
**About the Position**:
The Events Manager will plan and execute major customer and consumer-facing and internal events including trade shows, demos, sales meetings and corporate celebrations. This role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and will work with members of the Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to help scale our brand.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan and execute booths for customer-facing trade shows (including Natural Product Expo West), consumer-facing events (demos and marketing events), and internal events (Sales meetings, all-company meetings)
- Plan and develop programs, agendas, timelines, budgets, and services and manage execution to ensure event success
- Coordinate event and meeting logistics, including registration, transportation, accommodations, meals, and technology
- Research, negotiate and execute contracts, and maintain relationships with vendors for event support services
- Work with marketing team to produce event marketing collateral
- Package & ship products to the office or other field locations
- Develop scalable event strategies, leverage best practices and processes, and propose initiatives that anticipate and reflect the changing needs of the company
- Document and continuously improve all event related processes
**Job Qualifications**:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Intermediate level computer skills (MS Office, web savvy)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven, effective writing skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute in a team environment
**Education and Experience**:
- 3-4 years experience in event coordination or trade show management planning large-scale marketing events
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
**Travel Requirements**:
- Up to 25% of time
- Ability to work in United States for trade shows
