**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment efficiently and safely.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and garments according to established procedures.
- Ensure that all items are cleaned thoroughly and free from stains or damage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including proper storage of clean items.
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with other cleaning tasks as needed to support overall hotel operations.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role within a long-term care home or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs.
- Familiarity with laundering techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $18.75 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
