**Job description**:
Our company is looking for an individual with cleaning experience to clean common areas in an apartment buildings around Kitchener-Waterloo. We are looking for an individual whose flexible lifestyle suits this position. We are looking for someone who can be available at least 3 days per week to cover cleaning shifts on short notice. In turn, for same day call ins, we will pay an additional 1 hours wage. We are looking for an emphasis on reliability and attention to detail. We are looking for friendly and professional people. Types of tasks to complete will be cleaning windows, sweeping, mopping, cleaning the elevators, changing garbages, vacuuming, etc.

**Job requirements**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Handling keys and FOB’s
- Working in a safe manner
- Reporting any unsafe conditions
- Use personal protective equipment as required

**Working conditions**:
The applicant must be available at least 3 days per week.

**Skills**:

- Attention to detail
- Experience cleaning windows, bathrooms, elevators (stainless steel)
- Ability to switch around garbage compactor bins in garbage room (not necessary, but an asset)
- Ability to send messages and pictures via cell phone
- Ability to lift 44 lbs (not necessary, but an asset)
- Managing their time effectively
- Strong work ethic
- Able to follow schedules and checklists
- Self starter
- Organized
- Communication skills

**Salary**:
$18.50/hr to start

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 20 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
